Kinetic Chairman and CEO Matthew J. Beem, PhD recently attended The Giving Institute’s 2022 Summer Symposium in Minneapolis. In June, The Giving Institute welcomed Kinetic as a new member firm.
The Giving Institute is a trade association established to enhance professionalism and create high standards for professional fundraising. Its member organizations embrace and embody the core values of ethics, excellence and leadership in advancing philanthropy.
The Giving Institute is also the parent organization of the Giving USA Foundation™. Its annual report on charitable giving in the United States, Giving USA, was first produced in 1955. Today the Foundation continues to publish Giving USA, the annual report on American philanthropy, as well as support ongoing research and education.
Among its many significant achievements, The Giving Institute has championed the development of widely accepted standards of professional conduct and was instrumental in funding the startup of the United Way. Its member firms have helped charitable organizations raise billions of dollars and provided invaluable counsel to philanthropic institutions.
Kinetic is proud to be part of The Giving Institute and its mission: to actively champion thought leadership that empowers generosity.
