Growing Philanthropy for Boy Scouts of America

Kinetic has a decades-long tradition of helping Boy Scouts of America (BSA) councils – with over $165 million raised for BSA. The Kinetic team helps improve councils’ major gift prospect identification, qualification, cultivation and solicitation; grant research and proposal writing; campaign assessments; estate giving; annual fund planning and implementation; leadership development and more. To learn how Kinetic can help your local council, contact us at info@kineticfundraising.com or at (866) 630-8500.

A Scout is Thrifty

Thrifty: Managing money and resources in a cautious and sensible way so as to waste as little as possible; thriving; growing vigorously.

Being thrifty doesn’t mean doing without. It means making every decision count. Whether it is being intentional with finances or being a good steward of time and tangible possessions, being thrifty is about saying “no” when it is needful in order to say “yes” when it is beneficial.

Raise Visibility as You Do a Good Turn

Scouting for Food is a great time to do a good turn daily. Use this giving season to begin planning for your 2020 fundraising events. Consider partnering with area grocery stores to help showcase your council’s good work. Invite Scouting for Food donors to visit your social media pages. Neighbors who participate in this annual Scouting program may be interested in volunteering on some of the council’s other projects. A proven fundraising axiom is that “involvement leads to investment.” So, don’t overlook relationship-building opportunities that are “right at the doorstep.”

Strategies for Success: The Art of Fundraising

Much like attempting to paint a masterpiece, many nonprofits set unachievable fundraising goals, only to be disappointed.
