A Scout is Brave

Brave: Prepared and determined to face or endure hardship; showing courage; dauntless; resolute; intrepid.

Being brave does not mean being reckless or unwise. Bravery is not the absence of fear. One may be brave – moving forward with resolve and determination – and still be unsure of the unknown. To be brave may mean looking fear in the face, staring it down and still staying on course.
