Kappa Kappa Psi Gains Another $100,000 Toward Its Centennial Celebration Kappa Kappa Psi (Stillwater, Okla.), which began in 1919, retained Kinetic to provide counsel for the fraternity’s first major campaign. The initial task was to begin building a culture of philanthropy among the nonprofit’s fundraising base. Said Steve Nelson, National Executive Director of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma, “Hartsook has been instrumental in providing the ideas and expertise needed to navigate this campaign. Community Services League Announces $390,000 in Additional HUD Funding Community Services League (Kansas City) is the recipient of an additional $390,000 in United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding to help kids, families and single adults find permanent and stable housing. This funding allows Community Services League to receive more than $1,060,000 annually from HUD. Kinetic provides fundraising counsel to help the organization advance its mission: providing immediate relief to people in need, assessing their situations and providing solutions that lead to economic stability. |

Rebuilding Lives at reStart, Inc. reStart, Inc. (Kansas City) retained Kinetic to guide its fundraising efforts. reStart’s mission is to empower all people facing or experiencing homelessness by providing housing services that inspire hope. A campaign for Rebuilding Lives at reStart will fund capital, programs, operating and endowment goals in order to serve more individuals and families in need of reStart’s effective programs. Since 1981, reStart has served more than 30,000 homeless individuals, including more than 11,500 children and youth. It has extended a variety of services to individuals in Kansas City who are facing either chronic or circumstantial homelessness; and all of its services are provided free of charge. |

Foundation Supports Metropolitan Community College Metropolitan Community College Foundation (Kansas City) is committed to forming community partnerships and attracting resources that increase student access to educational opportunities, quality programs and environments that make Metropolitan Community College (MCC) the first choice for higher education in greater Kansas City. MCC is tackling the region’s economic and workforce challenges by partnering with employers to identify talent gaps and developing curriculum to fill those gaps.
