Kansas City Public Library Receives Two $500,000 Gifts The Kansas City Public Library (Kansas City) has received two new gifts of $500,000 each—one from The Sunderland Foundation and the other from the W. T. Kemper Foundation. Both gifts will go toward a renovation project for the North-East Branch. The Kansas City Library comprises a network of ten locations throughout the Kansas City area providing a wide array of services. Kinetic has been enlisted to support the Kansas City Public Library’s fundraising objectives. |

LevelUp Kids, Inc. Expands Its Mission to Include Vision Care LevelUp Kids, Inc. (Kansas City), formerly Miles of Smiles, has added vision care to its mission of providing services that empower families and create opportunities for low-income children to succeed in school and life. Since 2002, the organization has offered dental care for more than 25,000 children in Clay and Platte counties. Starting in 2020, a new, school-based vision program called ICare4Kids will offer vision screenings, comprehensive eye exams and free eyeglasses for low-income children and those whose families are enrolled in Medicaid. Kinetic is providing fundraising counsel to support LevelUp Kids’ expanded mission. |

A Campaign for Connections: The Next Step Missouri State Parks Foundation (Columbia, Mo.) is a nonprofit organization supporting the Missouri State Park system. The Foundation has joined with partners and allies across the State whose collective goal is to secure the Rock Island Railroad corridor for future development as the Rock Island Trail State Park. Kinetic has been retained to support this historic goal in taking the next step toward a developing the Rock Island Trail State Park. |
