Nearly $10 Million in Gifts for the Fundamental Learning Center’s Comprehensive Campaign Fundamental Learning Center (Wichita, Kan.) has raised more than $9.6 million in their Transforming Education campaign. FLC celebrates 20 gifts with donors committing $100,000 or more to this project: Stan and Gretchen Andeel, Clay and Kate Bastian, Wayne and Jan Becker, Berry Foundation, Bob and Martha Buford, Cox Communications, Daniel J. Taylor Family Foundation, Brenda Farha, Fidelity Bank Foundation, Bob and Maura Geist, INTRUST, Anita Jones, Darlene and Eric Knorr, Steve and Kim Packebush, Jeanine and Bill Phillips, Kristin and Will Price, Dee Rolph, The Sunderland Foundation, the Wallace Foundation and an anonymous donor. Hartsook provides campaign management to help raise $20 million to build a new, iconic teaching laboratory and training center, expand programs and grow the endowment. |

Center of Grace Receives Significant Foundation Support for Growing in Grace Center of Grace (Olathe, Kan.) has received a gift of $500,000 from The Sunderland Foundation to help support the nonprofit’s campaign for capital additions and renovations to its existing facility. Center of Grace also has been awarded a $1 million J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation challenge grant to support the goals of its $6 million campaign. Center of Grace rallies all sectors of the community to serve Johnson County’s lower-income households in order to help improve their circumstances. Kinetic has been assisting the organization to advance its mission through private philanthropy. |

Community School of the Arts Receives $1.4 Million and $250,000 Gifts Community School of the Arts (Fort Smith, Ark.) has received a gift of land valued at $1.4 million from the Westphal family. The organization also received a gift of $250,000 from an anonymous donor. The organization serves the Fort Smith Community and surrounding region by providing high-quality instruction in music, theatre, dance and visual art. Kinetic has been providing guidance for the organization’s $10 million campaign, Inspiring Excellence. |
