The World Health Organization Calls on Heart to Heart for COVID-19 Assistance Heart to Heart International (Kansas City) deployed a medical team to the Republic of the Marshall Islands to prepare for potential COVID-19 (Coronavirus) infections. The World Health Organization (WHO) requested Heart to Heart send a team to support planning, preparedness and training. The team departed at the end of February. One objective is to establish procedures and to contain and manage any future outbreak of the virus. Kinetic has helped guide the organization’s fundraising efforts to support Heart to Heart’s life-saving mission. |

Patrick Mahomes’ Foundation Gives $100,000 to Harvesters to Address COVID-19 Challenges Harvesters – The Community Food Network (Kansas City) will receive a gift of $100,000 from the 15 and Mahomies Foundation to support public lunch programs and meals in the Kansas City area in light of the challenges created by COVID-19. The food bank helps provide meals across 26 counties spanning Kansas and Missouri. Harvesters mission to provide nutritious food to anyone who needs it is even more important during these times of uncertainty. The organization works with 760 agencies to provide food throughout its 26-county service area. |

Museum Announces Centennial Coin Introduced in U.S. Congress Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (Kansas City) is celebrating the Centennial year honoring the founding of the Negro Leagues. Missouri Senator Roy Blunt put forward legislation to mint a commemorative coin for the Leagues. Kinetic is working with the Museum to advance its mission. The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is the world’s only museum dedicated to preserving and applauding the rich history of African-American baseball and its impact on the country’s social advancement. |
