$1-Million Challenge Grant Awarded to Kansas Nonprofit
Center of Grace (Olathe, Kan.) has been awarded a $1-million challenge grant by the J. E. and L. E. Mabee Foundation. Support will go to fund the organization’s campaign which includes the addition of a 7,500-square-foot building to be added to its existing gymnasium, renovations in the Center of Grace’s existing building and new stairs and an elevator added to a 700-square-foot, two-story addition north of the existing sanctuary. The Center of Grace provides programs that benefit the whole community – from the most vulnerable in need of basic services, to those looking to bring self-sufficiency and stability to their lives. |
