image Over $1.5 Million in Named Gifts to Crisis Relief Organization

Heart to Heart International (Kansas City) strengthens communities by improving health access, providing humanitarian development and administering crisis relief worldwide. Its campaign, Empowered to Serve, has received numerous named gifts including from The Kelly Family Foundation, $1 million (Lobby/main reception); Bob and Ann Regnier and the Regnier Family Foundation, $500,000 (Gallery); Carla and Don Duryee, $125,000 (Executive conference room); and Steve and Liane Hower, $25,000 (Volunteer welcome entrance/room/reception).


image Children’s Safety Center Receives $12,000 Gift from Springdale Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast

Children’s Safety Center (Springdale, Ark.) was the recipient of a $12,000 gift from Mayor Doug Sprouse and the 2019 Springdale Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast planning committee. The gift goes toward the organization’s mental health therapy program. Children’s Safety Center of Washington County is working with Kinetic in a campaign counsel relationship to advance their mission to empower children to overcome abuse and begin to trust, hope and heal.


image reStart Experiences Momentum in 2019

reStart (Kansas City) Stephanie Boyer joined reStart as CEO in January. From the beginning of the year to mid-summer, the organization has experienced great momentum. Its new leadership team has introduced enhanced processes to strengthen the nonprofit’s financial and programmatic structures and 1,723 individuals have been served by reStart. Kinetic is currently helping to guide reStart’s fundraising efforts to support its mission to provide housing and services to homeless youth, families, men and women to end homelessness in the community.

Astronomical Society of Kansas City (Blue Springs, Mo.) supports education and outreach to the Greater Kansas City area, observing events and research opportunities and providing resources for anyone interested in astronomy and allied sciences. Since the 1930s, the ASKC has grown from a small group to one of the largest astronomical societies in the country. Kinetic has been retained by the Astronomical Society of Kansas City (ASKC) to provide fundraising counsel to achieve its capital goals.
