Here are some of the websites and blogs on which I have consulted and implemented including the design, installation, and maintenance, and their extensions into social medial networks. The themes and plugins I use are all free and open source unless otherwise noted.
Theme: Suffusion
The BeingElmo site used during the film festival roll-out was originally designed by a firm in LA in preparation for the Sundance Film Festival using custom hand-coded html and CSS. - I have taken their design and re-implemented it using standard WordPress themes and plugins to extend the functionality and make it easier to maintain. Now the film is in production and the WordPress site has been replaced by a custom html site.
Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey is a documentary about the man behind Elmo.
Theme: Weaver
The objective of this site design was to leverage the branding of the DVD cover art to allow the filmmaker to begin selling DVDs of his film via the website.
Trans Francisco an hour-long feature documentary about life as a male-to-female transsexual has been selected for screening at the prestigious Frameline34 San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival, June 17-27. The film festival is the longest-running, largest and most widely recognized LGBT film exhibition event in the world.

Uses a slider on the home page to have a slideshow highlighting featured pages
Founder and President, Jennifer Jones is also the creator and host of a successful weekly podcast called Marketing Voices. This podcast gives thoughtful insight regarding how social media is impacting strategic marketing today for businesses worldwide.

This website was created in less than a week using WordPress and a low-cost commercial theme. Compare this site to ProCamNYC.com below which uses the same WordPress theme, but has a completely different look. -

Recreated and moved a previous version of this site from Joomla to WordPress. It's simpler to manage and update.
The Festival draws hundreds of thousands of people for two days of dancing into the evening. Food vendors offer traditional delicacies, while others sell crafts native to the Carnaval countries of their heritage. Giant stages sparkle with continuous entertainment.

Originally ICR’s services focused on adults with developmental disabilities and our services were targeted to those folks and their families. Over the years, we began working with seniors, clients of the Department of Labor, and adults with physical disabilities. Recently, we have also begun to serve out-of-state students with disabilities who attend UC Berkeley.

Good example of integration of Google Calendar using Google Calendar Events plugin
The Berkeley Revolution is a unicycle basketball team. Yes, we play basketball on unicycles, and all the rules apply, we have to dribble while we ride, shoot while mounted, etc. Our team went to the world unicycle convention (UNICON) competing for the World Championship of Unicycle Basketball!

The site was ported from an existing WordPress.com blog. By using a self-hosted version of WordPress we have many more features and greater functionality. -

Psilos is a venture capital firm focused on providing venture and growth capital to companies operating in the healthcare economy.
